Adam M. Grohman was born and raised in Pomona, New Jersey. After graduating from Absegami High School, he attended Atlantic Community College (now ACCC), and received his associates in arts and associates in science degrees. He then attended Long Island University at C.W. Post where he graduated with his Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Film Production and History. He was working on his master's degree when he was recalled to the United States Coast Guard Active Duty component in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has served in San Diego and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Adam has held several jobs including lifeguard, bartender, photographer, resident director for two universities, and editor and owner of a small surfing magazine. Adam is married to his beautiful wife Kendall whom he met while working at Long Island University. They currently reside in Locust Valley, New York.
